“Dr. Fox couldn’t have joined Immanuel at a better time,” said Julie Kaminiski, Immanuel chief operating officer. “His expertise and expansive medical knowledge have been invaluable in leading our clinical teams and creating a comprehensive and effective infection control response during the evolving events of the COVID-19 virus.”

Dr. Fox joins Immanuel after serving with CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center as vice president of medical operations and academic hospital medicine physician. He also previously served as chief medical officer at Creighton University Medical Center, supervising quality and patient safety as the hospital transitioned to a new academic medical center. A skilled physician and instructor, Dr. Fox was involved in the development of curriculum, educational tools and training programs for medical students and residents at the Creighton University School of Medicine.

In the greater community, Dr. Fox serves as president on the BLUEBARN Theater board of directors; co-chair of the Acute Care Test Material Development Committee for the National Board of Medical Examiners; vice chair on the Josie Harper Hospice House board of directors; and is a board member of the Metro Omaha Medical Society Foundation.

“During the backdrop of a global pandemic and Immanuel’s phased response and vaccination procedures, Dr. Fox has been fully committed to leading our clinical teams to success and educating residents and staff about safety procedures,” said Kaminiski.

Dr. Fox leads Immanuel’s home office clinical operations team that directs care across the organization’s communities and Pathways Pace centers. He also oversees Immanuel’s onsite infection control prevention specialist. Under Dr. Fox’s guidance and leadership, the team’s phased and comprehensive approach to COVID-19 protocols have ensured a high level of safety and wellbeing for residents and participants while working closely with governing health agencies like the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control.
