Immanuel Executive Director Named Future Leader in Senior Living

We are proud to announce that John Croghan, executive director of Immanuel’s The Landing at Williamsburg Village, has been chosen by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) as a future leader in long-term and post-acute care. Croghan joins the association’s year-long Future Leaders program that offers training and guidance for long-term and post-acute care professionals.

“The Association is always searching for the future leaders of our profession,” said Mark Parkinson, AHCA/NCAL President and CEO. “After a thorough review, we have selected John Croghan as one of our future leaders for the positive impact he has already had on the lives of seniors in his community.”

“We are extremely proud of John and this honor,” said Eric Gurley, Immanuel president and CEO. “John is an incredible presence at The Landing, one of our continuing care campuses. He brings to life our non-profit mission of service to seniors, each other and the community.”

John Croghan has served the retirement living industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Immanuel, he gained experience at the leadership level in managing and opening new retirement communities throughout the Midwest.

Since 2004, AHCA/NCAL has hosted long-term and post-acute care professionals in the Future Leaders program. Selected participants demonstrate leadership potential and represent the interests of both state and national long-term care providers. The program covers the latest theories and practical applications in quality management, customer satisfaction, and leadership.
